Royal Profile: Peter, Hereditary Prince of Yugoslavia

Peter, Hereditary Prince of Yugoslavia was born on 5 February 1980 as the eldest son of Crown Prince Alexander and Princess Maria da Gloria d'Orléans-Braganza{Source}. He is the stepson of Crown Princess Katherine of Yugoslavia {Source}. He has two younger brothers, and two maternal half-sisters{Source}{Source}:

The Hereditary Prince of Yugoslaiva's godfather is Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia (his second cousin 2x removed via Alexander Karađorđević, Prince of Serbia){Source}.

He spent several years of his childhood abroad. He was born in the United States, where he lived in Chicago and Virginia{Source}. In 1988, his family had moved to London, where he began attending one of London's top preparatory schools {Source}. Prince Peter graduated from The King’s School Canterbury in England having obtained three A-levels in Art, Spanish and French, and ten GCSE’s {Source}. After completing his primary education, he began attending Camberwell College of Arts at the London Institute where he undertook a foundations course in art foundations {Source}. He also went on to Spain, where he again, studied design and illustration programs{Source}. He spent a year in the United States, where he studied graphic design at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD){Source}.


Upon graduation, Peter, Hereditary Prince of Yugoslavia began working in the field of graphic design and art direction. He has worked in New York City and London for many international clients and brands {Source}.

As a descendant of Queen Victoria, he is distantly in succession for the British throne {Source}
