Royal Profile: Princess Adrienne, The Duchess of Blekinge

Princess Adrienne Josephine Alice of Sweden, The Duchess of Blekinge was born 9 March 2018 as the third child and second daughter of Princess Madeleine of Sweden, The Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland & Christopher Paul O'Neill{Source}. She has two older siblings {Source}:
In accordance with the 1979 Succession order, which was enforced on 1 January 1980, she is currently 10th in succession for the Swedish throne after her aunt, uncle, four cousins, mother and two older siblings{Source}. In accordance with the Perth agreement of 2015, she is currently distantly in succession for the British throne (think 250th-ish).

Princess Adrienne was baptized in Drottningholm's castle church on Friday, June 8, 2018 {Source}. Her godparents were {Source}:
  • Miss Anouska d'Abo (paternal 1st cousin-her mother is godmother to Leonore, her father a godfather to Nicolas)
  • Mrs Coralie Charriol Paul (friend of both Madeline and Chris's)
  • Mr. Nader Panahpour (childhood pal of Chris's)
  • Friherre Gustav Thott (his wife is Leonore's godmother)
  • Mrs. Charlotte Kreuger Cederlund (close friend of Princess Madeleine, their parents are friends)
  • Mrs. Natalie Werner (longtime pal of Madeleine's)
When she was only a few months old, her family moved from London to Florida, where they currently reside.

In October 2019, when he announced that she, her older siblings, and cousins Prince Gabriel and Prince Alexander would loose their status as members of Sweden's Royal House, thus loosing their HRH and "Of Sweden" designation. This decision was made in order to privatize their lives, and designate who would or wouldn't be expected to perform royal duties in the future as 8th in succession for the throne, Adrienne is unexpected to take on any future role within the monarchy {Source}. This decision did not effect her cousins Estelle and Oscar as they are children of the Crown Princess Couple, and thus will likely be expected to perform duties in the future-with Estelle acting as Sweden's Queen someday.
