Princess Iman was educated in the United States, and the United Kingdom. Her primary education took place at the Fay School and Maret School in the United States. In the United Kingdom, she attended The Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst{Source}. Upon graduation, she was back in the United States, this time studying at the American University to pursue a degree in veterinary science.


In December 2012, the Royal Court announced her engagement to Zaid Azimi Mirza{Source}. They were married on 22 March 2013, and were divorced in 2017{Source}. Together, they have one child:
