-King Albert II, Queen Paola,Prince Philippe, Princess Mathilde, Princess Astrid, Prince Lorenz, Princess Claire &Prince Laurent hosted a luncheon for members of the federal government at Château de Laeken on Tuesday {Photos}


Denmark


-Queen Margrethe II participated in a press conference regarding an exhibit that showcases Her Majesty’s artwork entitled, Farvens Sjæl: Dronning Margrethe II’s Kunst (The Essence of Color: The Art of Queen Margrethe II).

-Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary visited Brussels, Belgium on Thursday to attend the Danish take over of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union {Video} {Video}{Photos}{Photos}.

-Princess Marie gave birth to the couple's second child, a girl, who weighed 6.45 pounds (2.930 kilograms) and measured 19.6 inches (49 centimeters) long {Source} at 8:27am CET on Tuesday. The new born is 10th in line for the Danish throne. She joins the ranks after her three older brothers, Princes Nikolai, Felix and Henrik and four older cousins, Princes Christian and Vincent and Princesses Isabella & Josephine. She will be titled Her Highness Princess  of Denmark,   Countess of Monpezat. Like her older siblings and cousins, her name and godparents will be revealed on the day of her christening. -Philomena, The Duchess of Vendome gave birth to her second child, a girl, on Saturday in Vienna {Source}

Germany


-Prince Georg Friedrich celebrated the 300th anniversary of the late King Friedrich II in Potsdam, Germany where was a wreath laying ceremony at the tomb of King Friedrich II at Sanssouci Palace and a reception, concert, and lecture at the Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin, Germany{Source}.

Great Britain


-Charles, The Prince of Wales visited the town of Barnsley in England on Tuesday. During his visit, he"… toured the Barnsley Chronicle newspaper facility and visited Huddersfield University where he met young people involved in the Prince’s Trust and donors to the charity.” The future king also met with legendary Cricket umpire, Dickie Bird, whom  stated that he was “humbled” upon meeting the future king of England {Video}.

-Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall visited students at the Nova Hreod College in Swindon where she launched the British Food Fortnight’s Cook for the Queen Diamond Jubilee competition {Source}.

-Prince Harry joined locals at Smuggler's Den Inn, a pub, where he participated in Trivia Night in Cubert, England on Thursday {Source}.

-Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex toured the headquarters of the Wolf Safety Lamp Company where he unveiled a plaque commemorating the company’s 100 years in Heeley, England {Source}

-Princess Eugenie of York was spotted out and about with friends (aka exes of her cousin Prince Harry, Chelsey Davy & Natalie Pinkham) on Thursday {Source}

-Emperor Akihito attended the opening ceremony of the DIET session in Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday where he  read an official statement to members of parliament {Photos}.

-Emperor Akihito & Empress Michiko attended the“..50th anniversary of the establishment of the National Cancer Center in Tokyo.” {Photo}

Monaco


-Prince Albert held a working lunch with the mayor of Rome, Italy on Tuesday {Photo}.

-Prince Albert, Princess Charlene and their (looks like a black lab to me-any objections?) dog Mila attended the mass for Monaco's patron Saint, Saint Devote. The royal couple attended the mass at the church, then returned to the palace where they and Mila appeared on the palace balcony{Photos}{Photos}.

-Prince Albert & Princess Charlene attended the St. Devote Day Celebration Rugby match on Friday {Photos}


-Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, Princess Caroline & Princess Alexandra attended the St. Devote Festivities on Thursday {Photos}{Photos}

-Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, Princess Stephanie and Pauline Grace Maguy Ducruet attended the Gala Awards Ceremony of the 36th International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo on Tuesday {Photos}{Photos}.

-Princess Charlene was spotted in Milan, Italy on a shopping trip with her three member security guard team (reports say they are "friends", but a reality check would realize the three men around her are security guards) {Photos}{Story} (anyone else besides me find it ironic that she was seen in Milan the day prior to her husband having lunch with the mayor of Rome?). The Princess also celebrated her 34th birthday on Wednesday.

-Princess Caroline celebrated her 55th birthday on Monday.

-Princess Stephanie & Pauline Ducruet attended a ceremony involving the Circus Festival on Monday {Photos}.

The Netherlands


-Queen Beatrix, Willem-Alexander of Oranje & Princess Maxima were in Den Haag to attend an extraordinary meeting and farewell ceremony to Mr. Herman Tjeenk Willink, Vice-President (Viceroy) of the Council of State {Photos}{Photos}.

-Princess Maxima attended the 50th anniversary of the American Chamber of Commerce at the City Hall of Den Haag Atrium in The Netherlands {Photos}{Photos}.

-Princess Laurentien participated in the symposium entitled, Leesbevordering: Dat doet de bieb!(Promotion of Reading: The Library Does), in Amsterdam.

Norway


-King Harald V hosted a reception for the recipients of the King’s Medal of Merit at the Royal Palace and he held an audience for the Chief of Staff of the Norwegian Home Guard on Tuesday. On Wednesday, he attended the Nordic Norwegian Ski Championship.

-Queen Sonja attended the opening of the exhibition, Painting Canada: Tom Thomson and the Group of Seven, at the National Gallery/National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design in Oslo on Thursday {Source}.

-Crown Prince Haakon &Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on Thursday {Video}

Spain


-King Juan Carlos, Queen Sofia, Prince Felipe & Princess Letizia of Austrias attended the Foreign Ambassadors reception in Madrid, Spain on Tuesday {Photos}. On Wednesday, the King & Queen and future King & Queen attended a gala at the Royal Palace in honor of Mr. Humala’s official visit to Spain.

-King Juan Carlos met with the President of Peru, Mr. Ollanta Humala at Zarzuela Palace in Madrid on Wednesday.

-Queen Sofia was at the Teatro Real in Madrid where she attended the performance of the one act opera, Iolanta, by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and the opera, Perséphone, by Igor Stravinsky on Wednesday.


-Prince Felipe & Princess Letizia of Austrias attended the funeral  Funeral Mass for Manuel Fraga on Monday {Source}

Sweden


King Carl XVI Gustaf  held an audience with Estonia’s president, Mr. Toomas Hendrik Ilves at the royal palace in Stockholm.


-Queen Silvia presented several scholarships from the Queen Silvia Jubilee Fund on Monday {Video}.
