Princess Beatrice of York & Princess Eugenie of York take Germany

Day 1 (Jan 17)

The Princesses arrived in Germany to promote the GREAT Campaign.

Upon their arrival, the two sisters drove a Mini in front to the Brandenburg Gate to promote the GREAT initiative to promote the UK Abroad. Afterward, the two sisters visited the British School of Berlin, and the e-commerce company 'Zalando'. The sisters also paid a visit to KaDeWe department store and a fashion fair 'Bread & Butter' {Source} (also has a video clip with a speech from Princess Beatrice's speech at the bottom of the page).

Of course, even though their dad is paying for the trip out of his pocket, the girls were not without controversy. The girls were driving the Mini from the British Embassy to  the Brandenburg Gate, and went through a red light, however, it was later revealed that they had been waved through by German security {Source}.

Day 2 (Jan 18)

Today was a celebration of the Royal Family's history with the German city of Hanover. The girls were joined by Prince Ernest August of Hanover (1983, the eldest son of the present Pretender to the throne of Hanover and stepson of Princess Caroline of Hanover) and other administrators of the Hanover and Lower Saxony parts of Germany to attend the re-opening of Herrenhausen Palace, visited a Equine Clinic at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hanover, attended a reception at Hanover City Hall (Where it looks like it was Princess Eugenie's turn for a speech, trying to find a clip, but here's a pic)
