In August 2013 the family, without his father, moved to Geneva, Switzerland, where his mother had taken a job with the Caixa Foundation{Source}. In early April 2013, his father was offered a new position in Qatar, it was unclear whether or not Infanta Christina and her children will join him there at the end of this school year, which in the end, they did not join him in Qatar, but moved to Switzerland instead {Source}.

Due to his parents' global lifestyle, he has also had a worldly education. He began his education at the Carls Riba Preschool before the family's move to the US in 2009. Upon the family's return to Spain in 2011, he began to attend The French School of Spain, which both of his brothers attended. It is unclear where he attends school now.

As a member of the Royal House of Spain, and as 11th in line for the Spanish throne after his uncle, aunt, four cousins, mother and two older brothers, he holds an official title, as the son of a Duke and Duchess. Also due to his distance to the throne and age, he does not perform public duties on behalf of his grandfather.
