Royal Profile:Princess Angela of Liechtenstein
Princess Angela of Liechtenstein was born on 3 February 1958 in Bocas del Toro, Panama as Angela Gisela Brown, the daughter of Javier Francisco Brown and Silvia Maritza Burke. She is the wife of Prince Maximilan of Liechtenstein.
Presently, she and her son, Prince Alfons are the highest ranked black members of a European reigning dynasty. (Ed. note: I *believe* the next member is Monaco's Cecile de Massy, who is the wife of Christian de Massy, who is the cousin of reigning Prince Albert II of Monaco)
She was raised primarily in New York, NY USA. She attended local schools, and eventually she began to study fashion at Parsons The New School for Design. During her time at Parsons, she was awarded the Oscar de la Renta Gold Thimble Award. Upon graduation, she began to work as a designer, and created her own fashion label, A. Brown, a pattern which continued for three years. She then became fashion designer and a fashion director for Adrienne Vittadini.
On 29 January 2000, she married Prince Maximilian of Liechtenstein in NY. Together, they have one son:
