-King Mihai I announced that he has made the decision to step down from public life due to illness on Wednesday {Source}.
It was revealed that he recent underwent surgery and it was discovered that the defunct king has metastases cancer and chronic leukemia. In a statement released by the palace, he said, "I'm sure my daughter Margareta will have the wisdom and strength to represent me and to pursue all my public actions." The former king has five daughters and Margareta is the eldest.

-Prince Oscar Carl Olof, Duke of Skåne was born on Wednesday {Source}.

Prince Oscar is the second child and first son of Crown Princess Victoria & Prince Daniel.  His duchary was previously held by his great x2 grandfather, King Gustaf VI Adolf, who HIS grandfather succeeded the throne from in 1973. Prince Oscar is currently 3rd in succession for the throne. He is the second grandson and fourth grandchild for the King and Queen of Sweden.
