Ivy joins older half-brother 10 year old Leo Cyrus Anthony Lascelles, from her father's previous relationship. Little Ivy is presently 58th in line for the British throne {Source}. As the daughter of a Viscount and granddaughter of an earl, she is entitled to the style The Hon. Ivy Lascelles and when her father becomes The 9th Earl of Harewood, she will be styled as The Lady Ivy Lascelles.

- Prince Hamzah bin Al-Hussein of Jordan and Princess Basma bint al-Hussein of Jordan welcomed their fourth daughter, Princess Nafisa bint al-Hussein of Jordan. Princess Nafisa is the sixth granddaughter of King Hussein and Queen Noor, and 10th grandchild overall.

- Ellen Lascelles and her partner Michael G. Hermans welcomed their second child together, Penny Moon Hermans. Penny joins big brother Jack Marley Hermans and is not in succession for the British throne as she is illegitimate{Source}.

- Princess Madeleine & Christopher Paul O'Neill welcomed their third child, a girl{Source}. They named their third child and second daughter, Princess Adrienne Josephine Alice of Sweden, The Duchess of Blekinge {Source}. The little princess is currently 10th in succession for the Swedish throne after four cousins, her aunt and uncle, her mother and two older siblings. She is also the 7th grandchild and third granddaughter for The King and Queen of Sweden. She also is distantly in succession for the British throne as well, as a greatx4 granddaughter of Queen Victoria. Her name, like her mother's, is French inspired, and her last name "Alice" is in honor of her great grandmother, Alice Sommerlath, who died on 9 March 1997, approximately 21 years before Princess Adrienne's birth. She joins four year old Princess Leonore and 2 year old Prince Nicholas.

- Prince William, The Duke of Cambridge & Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child, a boy {Source}. They named their third child, Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge{Source}. The child is currently 5th in succession after his grandfather, father, and two older siblings. The little child joins 4 year 9 month old Prince George and 2 years, 11 months and three weeks old Princess Charlotte. He is the sixth great grandchild and 2nd great grandson of Queen Elizabeth & The Duke of Edinburgh. The little prince also shares a birthday with Princess Laetitia Maria of Belgium, Archduchess of Austria-Este and his 2nd cousin 2x removed via King George V, Lady Gabriella Windsor.

- Juliet Victoria Katharine Nicolson and Simon Alexander Rood welcomed their first child, Albert Alexander Gordon Nicolson-Rood. Through his maternal grandmother, he is distantly in succession for the British throne. Just a few months earlier, his family welcomed his first cousin Frederick.

Currently, their son is not in succession for the Monegasque throne due to his parents not being married. However, once they do marry in the spring of 2019 (or eventually), he will be in 8th place after his mother. He joins older maternal half brother Raphaël Elmaleh and older paternal half-sister Darya Rassam. He makes the fourth grandson for Princess Caroline of Hanover (Stefano, Francesco, Raphael. Predictions for 2018: My predictions and how it turned out:
In 2017, I predicted the following for 2018, and here's how it turned out:
- Finally the "divorce" of Andrea Casiraghi with Tatiana SD (5 years too long! Not that they were married anyway) (*taps foot* waiting for this announcement....)
- Possible engagements for Andrea's cousins, Jazmin Grace Grimaldi and Louis Ducruet to their respective significant others, Marie Chevallier and Ian Mellancamp . Louis may marry by the end of 2018 as private no nonsense affair and Jazmin we may never know. (Louis announced his engagement on 21 February 2018!) As for Jazmin and Ian, according to her social media, they celebrated their 4th anniversary in 2018, and will soon celebrate their 5th anniversary...so maybe in 2019?
- Possible a breaking off of Prince Harry's engagement...something about them just seems too off for me. (wrong here, but I give the marriage 3-5 years tops)
- Possible engagement for Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank {called it! January 22, 2018! Wedding took place in October! Source}
- Finally a baby for the Hereditary Grand Ducal Couple of Luxembourg, possibly due late summer or early fall, and announced in March, after her birthday. (off on my timing of this one!)
Things to look forward to in,& Predictions for 2019:
- Wedding in summer for Louis Ducruet and Marie Chevallier, likely a private affair. (Marie announced on her instagram that the wedding will happen in 2019)
- Finally the "divorce" of Andrea Casiraghi with Tatiana SD (5 years too long! Not that they were married anyway) (*taps foot* waiting for this announcement....)
- Baby fever for the Sussexes and Yorks-I think both will bring new babies to the Mountbatten-Windsor fold quickly, likely sometime in late 2019 or early 2020. The Sussexes are expecting their first child in the spring of 2019, but I think Eugenie and Jack will wait until after this child is born to start their own family.
- Prince Ernest August jr and his wife are expecting their second child, due in the spring
- Don Luis Alfonso de Borbón, Duke of Anjou & Maria Margarita, The Duchess of Anjou are expecting their 3rd son and 4th child next year.
- Ashley Louis David Hicks & Katalina Sharkey de Solis Hicks are expecting their second child together in early 2019.
- Prince François d'Orléans, Count of Dreux & Theresa von Einsiedel are expecting their 2nd child sometime next year. Don Luis Alfonso de Borbón y Martínez-Bordiu, Duke of Anjou& Maria Margarita Vargas Santaella are expecting their fourth child, third son, in February
- Charlotte Casiraghi will wed Dimitri Rassam....eventually....possibly around the same time as Andrea and Tatiana "divorce", possibly a double wedding with Louis? (kidding...unlikely).
- Princess Theodora of Greece & Denmark will marry Matthew Kumar at some point, possibly.
- Finally a baby for the Hereditary Grand Ducal Couple of Luxembourg, possibly due late summer or early fall, and announced in March, after her birthday.
- A really public and messy divorce for Ashley Louis David Hicks & Katalina Sharkey de Solis Hicks, along with a lengthy custody battle for at least one of their kids
