Prince Carlos Patrick Goderhard of Hohenzollern was born 2 December 1978 as the elder of two children of Prince Goderhard of Hohenzollern & Heide Hansen {Source}. He had one sister{Source}:

  • Princess Anna Corina Dione of Hohenzollern (1983)
He was a distant relative of Margareta, Custodian of the Crown of Romania, they were 3rd cousins 1x removed through Leopold, Prince of Hohenzollern.

He was arrested in 2014 in a fraud case of 830, 000 euros and was convicted {Source}. bHe had been released from prison on parole only recently.


Prince Carlos Patrick died on Sunday, 25  February 2018 in what is believed to be a sucide {Source}. He will be buried next to his father, who died in 2001{Source}{Source}
