He has a sister, brother-in-law and neohew: Princess Altinaï of Montenegro (1977) M. Anton Martynov (m. 2009) M. Nikolai Martynov(2009) Prince Boris was educated in France. He graduated the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in 2005. He studied decorative arts, and computerized photography. He works for a company called Renault in France as a Senior Art Director and Brand Designer. He speaks fluent French, English, Italian, Montenegrin, and some Portuguese.  On 12 May 2007, he married a Portuguese woman, Véronique Haillot Canas da Silva (1977).
