Royal Profile: Cristina Elena de Bourbon y Hardenberg
Cristina Elena de Bourbon y Hardenberg was born 2 September 1975 as the second child and daughter of Francisco de Paula Enrique de Borbón y Escasany, 5th Duke of Seville and Countess Beatrice Wilhelmine Paula von Hardenberg{Source}. She has an older sister and a younger brother{Source}:

- Julián Porras Toledano
- Flavia de Bourbon y Toledano
- Fernando Enrique de Bourbon y Toledano
- Francisco de Paula Joaquín de Borbón y Hardenberg ( 1979) (Name sound familiar? He was on TLC's reality show, "Secret Princes" back in 2012...a show of "Princes" of NOTHING trying to find love.)
She was educated in Spain and the United States. She attended College for International Studies in Madrid, where she was a studying communications and tourism, but later chose a different path. She moved to New York, where she became a student at the Institute of Culinary Education.
After graduation and undertaking several internships and workshops with restaurants such as Horcher, Balzac or El Cenador de Salvador and Sergi Arola's workshops, she began her culinary career, starting her own catering company, bearing her name {Source}{Source}.
She is a distant relative of the Spanish Royal Family through her father, so I suspect we shall at least see them at her upcoming funeral.
She never married nor had children, she is survived by her parents, two siblings, a brother-in-law, and her niece and nephew.
