The Recap of The Royals You Love:Dec 12-18


-King Albert, Queen Paola, Princess Astrid & Prince Lorenz attended the Christmas Concert at the Palais de Bruxelles on Wednesday {Photos}.

-Prince Philippe attended an academic session held at the new Viviqua headquarters in Brussels on Tuesday. On Thursday, the future King of the Belgians attended a conference on logistics in the area of the Belgian-Dutch Delta, held at the Provincial House in Antwerp, Belgium.

-Princess Mathilde was in Gedinne where she was greeted by the governor of the province, Denis Mathen, and other local dignitaries, toured a ommunity center, a second-hand shop, and participated in two educational workshops called Little Reporters and Arts and Wood.

-Prince Phillipe, Princess Mathilde, Princess Eleonore, Prince Philippe, Prince Emmanuel & Princess Elisabeth released their 2011 Christmas photos on Thursday {Photos}. Each child was photographed individually doing something-10 year old Princess Elisabeth is seen painting, 8-year-old Prince Gabriel is seen playing soccer, 6-year-old Prince Emmanuel is riding a child's play tractor, 3-year-old Princess Eléonore is seen running on the grounds of the palace.


-Queen Margarethe attended a performance of  Richard II at the Donmar Warehouse theatre in Covent Garden in London, England during her annual Christmas shopping trip to London {Source}. On Wednesday, she received the Ambassador of China during a farewell audience held at Christian IX’s Palace at Amalienborg {Source}.

-Crown Prince Fredrick, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent & Princess Josephine ended their extended Australian tour on  Saturday, returning to Denmark {Source}.

-Crown Princess Mary spent time shopping with her sisters Jane and Patricia on Monday during her family's extended visit to Hobart, Tasmania.

Great Britain

-Prince Harry's driver caused a photographer to seriously break his leg after rushing the third in line away from a London nightclub. The photographer is reportedly monetary damages {Source}. On Saturday, it was revealed that Prince Harry came to the resuce of a friend who was being mugged {Source}.

- Princess Alexandra presented 19- year-old Mohammed Ali Hanif  the 49th Annual Torch Trophy Trust Award by the Manchester United Foundation and the Premier League for his work on projects in Manchester, Salford and Trafford that aim to encourage more youngsters into sport {Source}.

Royal Tours to Celebrate Queen Elizabeth's Golden Jubilee were announced: {Source}

-Queen Elizabeth & Prince Phillip, Duke of Endinburgh will stay within the UK for the celebrations, visiting various parts of the region. They will visit north London on March 29, Wales April 26-27, South West May 1-2, south London May 15, North West May 16-17, and national celebrations in the capital from June 2-5. There will be additional visits to East Midlands and East Anglia on June 13-14, and South East June 25, with a return visit on July 25. The Royal couple will also visit Scotland from July 2-6 during their traditional summer stay at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, West Midlands July 11-12 and North East July 18-19. Dates for Northern Ireland will be announced at a later date.

-Prince Charles & Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall will visit Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. Prince Charles will also visit Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

-Prince William, Duke of Cambridge & Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge will visit Malaysia, Singapore, the Solomon Islands and Tuvalu. Tuvalu has not had a major royal visit in decades.

-Prince Harry will tour Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas.

-Prince Andrew, The Duke of York will visit India.

-Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex & Sophie, Countess of Wessex will visit the Caribbean, visiting Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Grenada, Montserrat, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, with an extra visit to Gibraltar.

- Anne, The Princess Royal will visit Mozambique and Zambia.

-Prince Richard, The Duke of Gloucester will visit the British Virgin Islands, Malta

-Prince Edward, The Duke of Kent will visit Falkland Islands, Uganda

-Grand Duke Henri  held an audience with Mr.Victor F. Rashnikov at the Grand Ducal Palace on Wenesday. Prior to meeting the Grand Duke , Mr.Rashnikov was sworn in as the Honorary Consul of Luxembourg in the Russian Federation {Photos}.

-Grand Duke Henri, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa & Grand Duke Jean attended the funeral mass for Princess Elisabeth on Thursday {Source}.


-Hereditary Prince Alois gave an interview to CNN's Richard Quest, where they discussed Liechtenstein reputation as a "tax haven" {video}.


-Prince Albert & Princess Charlene attended the principality's annual Children's Christmas Party at the Palace Princeier on Wednesday {Photos} {Photos} {Video click Le Noël au Palais Princier}. On Thursday, they visited the nursey school of the Red Cross, where they visited with children and presented each child with a gift {Photos}.

-Prince Albert  visited the Residence Cap Fleuri For Noel Croix Rouge on Monday. On Tuesday, he attended the Cocktails with Members of the Monaco Yacht Club event with his nephew, Pierre Casiraghi {Photos}. Wednesday, Monaco's  leader attended an environmental conference at the Musée Océanographique in Monaco titled Antarctica: 1911-2011 {Source}. On Friday, the Prince's foundation, The Prince Albert II Foundation's US chapter, announced a partnership with the American Museum of Natural History. The partnership is to support the Museum’s conservation efforts in the biologically rich and diverse Solomon Islands and to mark this collaborative partnership, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between them has been signed {Source}. On Sunday, Prince Albert participated in the annual Christmas Swim in aid of a charity providing schooling to victims of the Thai tsunami at Larvotto Beach in Monaco {Source}

-Princess Charlene visited with children at  Collège Charles III on Thursday, where she was welcomed by Paul Masseron, Government Minister for the Interior and the head of the school  Marie-Hélène Gamba, visited various classrooms where she had the discussion with pupils who were working on the subject "One thing I love about Monaco and one thing that I like least and my future hopes and dreams for the Principality" and attend a mass. Thursday evening, she attended a Palace Staff Children's Christmas party. -Andrea Albert Pierre Casiraghi was inducted as a member of ' Chope d'or' on Monday {Photos}.

-Pierre Rainier Stefano Casiraghi attended the Members Cocktail of the Monaco Yacht Club on Tuesday evening in the company of his uncle, Prince Albert {Photos}.

 The Netherlands

-Queen Beatrix, Prince Willem-Alexander, Princess Maxima, Princess Laurentien, Prince Constantijn , Princess Mabel, & Prince Friso attend the Prince Claus Award in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on Wednesday {Source}.

-Queen Beatrix attended a concert held at the Agora Theatre in Lelystad in honor of Kingdom Day on Thursday.

-Prince Williem-Alexander, Prince of Oragne attended a conference on logistics in the area of the Belgian-Dutch Delta, held at the Provincial House in Antwerp, Belgium on Thursday.


-King Harald & Crown Prince Haakon participate in the Royal Guard’s church parade in Oslo, Norway on Tuesday {Source}.

-Crown Prince Haakon visited Tromsø, Norway on Tuesday, where he assited with the celebration of  the 100th anniversary of Norwegian explorer, Roald Amundsen, arrival to the South Pole {Video}.


-Prince George Fredrich & Princess Sophie visited the Legoland Discovery Center in Berlin, Germany {Source}.


-Princess Benedikte attended the Sankt Annæ Girls Choir Christmas Concert held at the Helligåndskirken in Copenhagen {Source}.

-Carina Axelsson, life partner of   Gustav, Hereditary Prince of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg hosted the annual Christmas reception at Schloss Berleburg for roughly 70 elderly members from the German Red Cross on Monday {Source}. This was Miss Axelsson's first time hosting the event solo.


-King Juan Carlos & Queen Sofia attended a National Library Exhibition on Tuesday.

-Queen Sofia presides over the 50th Anniversary of the creation of the Special Operations Command in Alicante, Spain on Wednesday.

-King Juan Carlos, Queen Sofia, Felipe, Prince of Asturias & Letiza, Princess of Austrias recieved members of the Spanish Government for a Farewell Lunch at the Royal Palace in Madrid, Spain on Tuesday.

-Felipe, Prince of Asturias, Letiza, Princess of Austrias, Infanta Leonor & Infanta Sofia released their 2011 Christmas photos on Friday.

-Infanta Elena's family also released their 2011 Christmas Photos on Friday.

-Infanta Cristina's family also released their 2011 Christmas Photos on Friday.

-Iñaki Urdangarin, husband of Infanta Cristina, is banned from attending royal events with his wife and four children and other members of the family. He is banned due to his involvement with as an players in an embezzlement of public funds while being head of a non-profit company, Instituto Noos {Source}


-King Carl XVI, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria & Prince Daniel attended an Advent Service held at the Royal Palace in Stockholm on Thursday evening {Source}.

-Crown Princess Victoria greeted students from the Forest School in Umeå, Sweden when they presented her with many Christmas trees on Thursday {Source}.
