Belgium


-King Albert II hosted a reception to mark the tenth anniversary of the “Laeken Declaration on the Future of the European Union,” held at the Château de Laeken {Photos}. On Tuesday, he swore in a new government {Source}.

-Queen Paola attended a Christmas concert for the Queen Paola Foundation (QPF) held at the Hotel Plaza in Brussels on Thursday.


-Princess Astrid attended a confernece at University of Antwerp regarding poverty, migration and integration, and was organized by the  Centre on Inequality, Poverty, Social Exclusion and the City on the occasion of the publication of the 20th Annual Poverty and Social Exclusion {Source}.

-Prince Laurent & Princess Claire opened a shelter for the homeless and their pets on Tuesday. The Royal pair also held a press confrence, where they denied the allegations of the RTBF network that accused Prince Laurent of domestic violence as well as just being a Royal Pain {video}.

Great Britain


-Queen Elizabeth II's salary has been frozen for the next four years {Source}. The court of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge will be affected, as will the repairs of the various palaces, the extra money that was previously used to fund those things (the Duke & Duchess's expenses and repairs on various castles) will stay within the Queen's court. On Thursday, she attended a special exhibition presented by the Royal Collection and Royal Archives at Buckingham Palace.

-Prince Charles & Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall released their official 2011 Christmas Card via the @ClarenceHouse Twitter account on Friday. Here's a sneak peek. The photo is of Prince Charles, Camilla and Camilla's young bridesmaid of a granddaughter, Elisa Lopes during the April 2011 Family balcony appearance after THE Royal Wedding.

-Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Willaim, Duke of Cambridge &Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attended a charity concert for their patron organizations, The Prince's Trust and the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry,  featuring a performance by Gary Barlow, the lead singer of British pop act Take That {Source} {Photos}.

-Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall has contributed a recipe for roast chicken and tarragon to a new charity recipe book {Source]. On Wenesday, the Duchess of Cornwall participated in the 19th Annual ICAP Charity Day {Photos}.

-Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge's little sister Pippa will join the British Royal Family for Boxing Day at Sandringham. Afterwords, Pippa, and the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge will join the Middleton Family for the remainder of 2011 {Source}.

-Prince Andrew, The Duke of York presented a solider with his campaign medal upon his return from a six month tour of duty in Iraq  on Thursday {Source}

-Anne, The Princess Royal attended the 99th Royal Variety Performance on Monday evening {Source}. On Friday, The Princess Royal opened Dents' new Warminster factory, where she unveiled a plaque, visited with workers, toured the facility, and accepted a donation to the Princess Anne's Charities Trust and a pair of Dents leather gloves from the company {Source}.

-Mike Tindall is being “welcomed back into the royal fold” following his drunken antics at the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand, for which he was fined by the Rugby Football Union. He and wife Zara will spend Christmas eve and Christmas Day with the British Royal Family at Sandringham. It is said that Mike will be missing out on the Phesant hunt on Boxing Day due to Rugby Team commitments {Source}.

Luxembourg


-Grand Duke Henri & Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attended the closing ceremony of the 2011 European Year of Volunteering organized by the Ministry of Family and Integration, together with the European Commission Representation on Monday.  The pair also attended Saturday's Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony in Stockholm, Sweden {Source}.

-Grand Duke Henri, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa & Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume  hosted a reception for participants in humanitarian aid missions as well as operations of peacekeeping from the Luxembourg Army and the Grand Duchy police on Thursday {Source}.


-Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attended a Christmas concert benefiting the SOS Children’s Village in Luxembourg on Thursday {Source}.

-Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume visited the Luxembourg company of international Ceratizit, located in Mamer where he toured the production site which produces industrial electronics, automotive stuff and petroleum. The future Grand Duke also attended a presentation from the process manufacturing to distribution of finished products for use {Photos}

The Netherlands

-Queen Beatrix presented a banner to the Military Administration Corps of the Army at the Parliament Buildings in Den Haag {Photos}. Also in attendance were several Dutch Ministry of Defense cabinet members.

-Princess  Catharina-Amalia  celebrated her 8th Birthday on Wednesday.

-Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje opened a new factory on Thursday in Tilburg, Netherlands {Photos} {video}.

Princess Maxima attended the closing ceremony of the project Thousand and One Force in Utrecht, The Netherlands on Friday {Photos 1} {Photos 2}.

Monaco

- Prince Albert II & Princess Charlene attended the opening of Monaco's Christmas Village where they viewed various booths and lights, and posed with Santa for a couple of photos on Monday {more photos}.  On Tuesday, the Prince gave a speech at the UN Climate Change Confrence in South Africa. On Wednesday, the royal newlyweds attended the UNEP One Billion Tree Campaign/Climate Action Networking Reception in Durban, South Africa where Prince Albert paid a tribute 2004 Nobel Peace Prize winner, Professor Wangari Maatai, who passed away in September {Video}. Thursday, they met with Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

-Princess Charlene: more details were released about her Foundation via the principality's newspaper, Monaco-Martin. According to Monaco-Martin, Princess Charlene's foundation will focus on humanitary efforts, especial ones involving women and children in difficulties on five continents. .The Princess will attend  "Ein hertz fur die Kinder" ( "A heart for children" ) show in Berlin, Germany  and will be awarded the "Golden Heart" for her humanitarian involvement on December 17th{Source}. It was also announced this week that the Princess has been nominated as World Open Water Swimming Woman of the Year {Video}

-Prince Richard was interviewed by the German magazine, Country Lust Auf Ländliche Lebensart, regarding his latest project and passion the Bison. He also discussed his sister in law, the Queen of Denmark and wife, Princess Benedikte. Here's the article, fair warning-it's in German!

-Queen Sofia attended the opening of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Madrid on Monday {Soure}.

-Prince Felipe & Princess Letizia of Asturias attended the changing of the Guard at the Royal Palace in Madrid {Video} {Photos}.

-Prince Felipe was in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he attended a luncheon at the Spanish embassy on Friday and  the inauguration ceremony of President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner on Saturday {Photos}. 

Sweden

- King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia,  Crown Princess Victoria & Prince Daniel attended a meeting regarding the 2011 Nobel Prize Laureates on Monday {Source}.

- King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia,  Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, & Prince Carl Phillip attended the 2011 Nobel Prize Ceremony & Banquet on Saturday. Also in attendance were:
Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxemborug, Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg.
- King Carl XVI Gustaf presented the 2011 Prince Eugen Medal during a ceremony at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.  The Prince Eugen Medal is awarded to those for their outstanding artistic achievements {photo}.

-Princess Madeline  attended the Celebrating Women in Science 2011 event at the New York Academy of Sciences on Saturday in New York City.

Thailand

-King Bhumibol Adulyadej marked his 84th Birthday with a speech to his people. In his speech, of which he gave surrounded by his wife, son and daughters, he called for a national unity, and that it is the Thai people’s duty “to cooperate and fix problems to the best of your ability, especially now that our people are suffering from the floods.” {Source}.
