Leopold Christian Ingolf Rosanes af Rosenborg was born 15 April 2005 as the third child and second son of Countess Camilla Alexandrine Cristine af Rosenborg and Mikael Rosanes {Source}. He has the following siblings {Source}:

  • Anastasia Caroline Amalie Rosanes af Rosenborg (1997) 
  • Ludwig Christian Mikael Rosanes af Rosenborg (2000) 
  • Theodor Christian Emanuel Rosanes af Rosenborg (2008)

He is distantly related to Queen Margarethe II of Denmark...his grandfather was a cousin of Queen Margarethe II's. He is not in line for succession due to his grandfather not seeking parliamentary approval for his marriage to his commoner grandmother. Therefore, he performs no public functions on behalf of the monarchy and likely lives a relatively normal life and little is known about him. However, he did attend his grandfather's funeral in May 2013 {Photos}.
