Through his paternal grandmother, he is a distant maternal relation of Queen Elizabeth II-his great grandmother was Lady Mary Cecilia Bowes-Lyon, who was a first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II through her uncle, Captain Hon. Michael Claude Hamilton Bowes-Lyon. This would make Peter a first cousin 3x removed of Queen Elizabeth II.



As he was born in New York City, he is entitled to American citizenship.
