Liddell-Grainger in addition to being related to Queen Elizabeth II via Queen Victoria, also descended through Queen Mary's side of the family. Via Francis, Duke of Teck, the women are 1st cousins 1x removed. Via Queen Victoria, the women are 2nd cousins 1x removed. She is also the daughter of Queen Victoria's last surviving grandchild (who until recently, was Queen Victoria's eldest living descendant!), Princess Alice of Albany, Countess of Athlone.

She is one of Queen Victoria's current oldest living relatives (#6 behind Count Bertram Friedrich zu Castell-Rüdenhausen), thus is in succession for the British throne. The Other current eldest living descendants of Queen Victoria include:

  1. Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh (1921) ( 99 years, 1 months, 7 days)
  2. Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom (1926) ( 94 years, 2 months, 25 days)

Side note: I've also seen a couple of sources that Princess Dorthea has been dead since 2002...but I have not seen an obituary or anything of that nature. If anyone can provide insight here, please email me.
