  1. Prince Carl Philip Edmund Bertil of Sweden, Duke of Värmland was born 13 May 1979 , the only son of King Carl XVI and Queen Silvia {Source}. 
  2. At the time of his birth, he was considered heir to the throne as Sweden did not adopt Absolute primogeniture until January 1980. 
  3. He has two sisters, an older sister, Crown Princess Victoria and younger sister, Princess Madeline.
  4. He has two brother-in-laws, Prince Daniel, and Mr. Christopher O'Neil.
  5. He has two nieces:
