Royal Profile: Gen Z going back to school!

Like most of us, royals must go to school to get their education during their childhood and adolescence, and often into their 20s for university. Each year things remain the same around September-the seasons change, summer ends, and school begins. 2014 is no different. Sure, some royals are attending new schools this year, or attending for the first time, but most often as the seasons change, and school begins, the same royals are going back to the same schools. Here is a list of some of the royals and what they are up to now:

Belgium:
The Children of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde:

• Princess Elisabeth, The Duchess of Brabant will be continuing at Sint-Jan Berchman's, in the second year of the Collège division.
• Prince Gabriel will be continuing his education at Sint-Jan Berchman's, a few years behind his sister.
• Prince Emmanuel will continue his courses at Eureka School, where he became a student in September 2012 after several years with his siblings at Sint-Jan Berchman's {Source}
• Princess Eléonore began school in 2007 at Sint-Jan Berchman's, therefore is likely entering the first year in the primary cycle of her education {Source}.

The Children of Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz, The Archduke and Archduchess of Austria-Este:

• Princess Luisa-Maria, may be undertaking either her final year at Sevenoaks School (where she has been a student since 2009), her first year of university or gap year after graduation.
• Princess Laetitia-Maria is attending another year at Sint-Jan Berchman's alongside her cousins.

The Children of Prince Laurent and Princess Claire:

• Princess Louise attended a French-language private school in Tervuren, {Source} where she studied in the French language, and studied English as well, but never learned a word of Dutch. Since the age of six, she has attended Lycée Français de Bruxelles in suburban Uccle. Her parents have been criticized for not sending their children to Dutch-language schools. {Source}
• Her twin brothers, Prince Nicolas and Prince Aymeric, who are a year younger than Louise, should have started at LFB in September 2010.

Denmark:


The Children of The Crown Princely Couple:

• Prince Christian, began school at Tranegårdsskolen in 2011, where he continues his education. 
• Princess Isabella began attending school at t Tranegårdsskolen in 2013, where she continues her education. 
• Prince Vincent & Princess Joesphine  will likely attend a pre-school somewhere, perhaps at Queen Louise's Children's House or Garrison Parish Ward Kindergarten, both of which were attended by their elder siblings before them.

The Children of Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and Alexandra, Countess of Fredriksberg:

• Prince Nikolai will begin a new adventure, this time at boarding school, just outside of Copenhagen, Herlufsholm school {Source}.
• Prince Felix will continue his education at Krebs School. 
• Prince Henrik will likely begin, if he hasn't already, pre-school somewhere.
• Princess Athena  will likely begin pre-school next year.

Greece:

The Children of The Crown Princely Couple:

• Princess Maria-Olympia  is likely entering a GAP year. She previously attended Garden House School and Queen's Gate School in London {Source}.
• Prince Constantine Alexios is likely a few years behind his sister.
• Prince Achileas-Andreas is  likely a few years behind his sister.
• Prince Odysseus-Kimon  is likely a few years behind his sister.
• Prince Aristidis-Stavros  is likely a few years behind his sister.

The Children of Princess Alexia and Mr. Carlos Morales Quintana:

• Arrietta Morales y de Grecia is likely attending school near her family's residence on the Canary Islands
• Ana María Morales y de Grecia  is likely attending school near her family's residence on the Canary Islands
• Carlos Morales y de Grecia  is likely attending school near her family's residence on the Canary Islands
• Amelia Morales y de Grecia  is likely attending school near her family's residence on the Canary Islands

Great Britain:

The Children of The Earl and Countess of Wessex:

• The Lady Louise is likely in her final years at St George's School, Windsor Castle.
• James Mountbatten-Windsor, Viscount Sevrn is likely in the first years of primary education.

The Children of Peter and Autumn Philips:

• Savannah Anne Kathleen Philips is likely attending a pre-school somewhere near her parent's home on her grandmother's estate.
• Isla Elizabeth Philips  likely will begin school in 2015-2016.

The Children of The Viscount and Viscountess Linely

• The Hon. Charles Armstrong-Jones has been attending Eton College since September 2012.
• The Hon. Margarita Armstrong-Jones finished her final year at Garden House School in 2013-2014 {Source}. 

The Children of The Lady Sarah Chatto and Mr. Daniel Chatto:

• Samuel David Benedict Chatto  attended Westminster Cathedral Choir School until 2009. It is likely he attended Eton College afterword, and is currently entertaining a gap year.
• Arthur Robert Nathaniel Chatto  also attended Westminster Cathedral Choir School, until 2012. It is also likely he attended Eton College.

Norway:

The Children of The Crown Princely Couple:

• Marius Borg Høiby, stepson of the Crown Prince and son of the Crown Princess, is likely in his final year at  Jansløkka school.
• Princess Ingrid Alexandra began the new school year at a new school, Oslo International School, on her mother's 41st birthday {Source}. It has been said that the reason for her attending the school is so that she will be able to fluently think and speak in English as a future Queen of Norway.
• Prince Sverre Magnus  also began the new school year at a new school, this time at Oslo Montessori school, where he is in the 4th grade {Source}.

The Children of Princess Märtha Louise and Mr. Ari Behrn:

• Maud Angelica Behn  attends a Waldorf school in London, where her family has resided since 2012 {Source}
• Leah Isadora Behn attends a Waldorf School in London, where her family has resided since 2012{Source}
• Emma Tallulah Behn is likely in the first years at the Waldorf School in London {Source}.

The Netherlands:

The Children of King Williem-Alexander and Queen Maxima:

• Princess Catharina Amalia of Oranje  will continue her education at Bloemcamp Public School.
• Princess Alexia will continue her education at Bloemcamp Public School.
• Princess Ariane  will continue her education at Bloemcamp Public School.

The Children of Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien:

• Countess Eloise attends school in Belgium, where the family resides.
• Countess Leonore  also attends school in Belgium, where the family resides.
• Count Claus-Casimir  also attends school in Belgium, where the family resides. 

The Children of Prince Friso and Princess Mabel:

• Countess Zaria likely attends school in either The Netherlands or England.

• Jazmin Grace Grimaldi is a recent graduate of Fordham University, this past May. Currently she is residing in New York, and working for the UN World Food Programme.
• Alexandre Eric Stephane Coste Grimaldi  is currently residing in London with his mother, where he likely attends school.

The Children of Princess Caroline of Hanover and Prince Ernest-August of Hanover

• Princess Alexandra  is continuing her education at Collège François d’Assise Nicolas Barré, where she should be in Troisième, equal to 9th grade in the US System.

The Children of Princess Stephanie with Daniel Ducruet and Jean-Raymond Gottlieb

• Louis Robert Paul Ducuret is likely in his final year of a masters degree program in the United States.
• Pauline Grace Maguy Ducuruet  likely graduated with a bachelors in costume design from a university in Paris this past year.
• Camille Marie Kelly Gottlieb  is continuing her education at Lycee François d’Assise Nicolas Barré, where she should be in Seconde (equal to 10th grade on the US System).
