Princess Camilla of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, The Duchess of Castro was born 5 April 1971 in Italy, the daughter of an Italian industrialist, Camillo Crocianai and an Italian actress Edoara "Edy" Vessel Crociani{Source}.

After spending her childhood in Italy, Switzerland, France and Mexico, her family moved to the United States, where she attended Marymount High School and New York University {Source}. The Duchess is fluent in numerous languages, including Italian, French, English, Spanish and Japanese{Source}.

She married Prince Carlo, Duke of Casto on 8 October 1998{Source}. Together, they have homes in Monaco, Italy and France {Source}. They also have two daughters{Source}:



The Duchess has been an active supporter of several charities, including UNICEF, The Red Ross, as well as promoting arts, cultural and sports organizations in southern Italy{Source}.
