Royal Profile: Prince Alexander Karađorđević of Yugosalvia & Prince Philip Prince Alexander Karađorđević of Yugosalvia

Prince Philip Karađorđević of Yugosalvia was born 15 January 1981 in the United States, the second son of Crown Prince Alexander of Yugosalvia and his 1st wife, Princess Maria. He has an older brother, Prince Peter. His godparents included:



He was born in the US, therefore he holds US citizenship, and is the senior most British Royal to do so.

He spent his early years in Virginia, before the family moved to England, where he began to attend school. He attended The King's School, Canterbury   graduating in 2000, earning A-Levels in Spanish, Government & politics, and Geography {Source}. After graduation, he attended University College London, earning a BA in Art, and also spent a year studying at a Spanish university in Madrid {Source}.

He speaks fluent English, Spanish & French, and is studying Serbian {Source}

He presently works for a financial firm in London {Source}

After he graduated from high school. his family took up residence in Belgrade, Yugoslavia{Source}.

In his spare time, he enjoys many sporting activities. He enjoys water sports, as well as painting, music, computers and science. He has traveled extensively, to places including throughout Europe, the US, the Mid-East, Northern Africa, Southeast asia, and the Central and Southern Americas {Source}

He is a fraternal twin of Prince Alexander, and is a pretender to the Yugoslavian throne{Source}.

Like his twin, he enjoys a variety of activities ranging from sports to arts. He is a lover of art, photography, music,  and French films. He also enjoys surfing, skiing,  scuba diving, tennis, basketball and soccer. He likes to visit museums, and discuss literature and cuisine{Source}.

Like his brother he is also fluent in numerous languages  including English, Spanish, and French, and is working on his Serbian{Source}.
