Royal Ladies attend the 3rd Global Women Deliver Conference in Maylasia 28-30 May 2013

Day 1 (27 May)

Crown Princess Mette-Marit arrived at her hotel before heading off to chair a roundtable discusssion at the Youth Confrence organized by Women Deliver on Young Leadership & HIV {Source}. In the evening, the future Norweigan consort and her delegation paid a courtsey call to Maylasia's Prime Minister's wife {Source}

Day 2 (28 May)

Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the opening ceremonies, an opening discussion entitled, Investing in Women’s Reproductive Health Equals Investing in Economic and Social Progress for Everyone{Photos}{Source}. After that, she attended a UNAIDS panel discussion entitled, More than mothers: Upholding the sexual and reproductive rights of women in the Global Plan{Source}. During lunch, she was hosted by Maylasia's first lady{Source}. After the luncheon, the future Norwegian  consort participated as a panelist during the Presidential session on Women's Health{Source}.

Crown Princess Mary  attended the opening ceremonies,  an opening discussion entitled, Investing in Women’s Reproductive Health Equals Investing in Economic and Social Progress for Everyone{Photos}{Source}. In the afternoon, the future Danish Queen Consort visited Putraya Hospital, where she was "...presented the current situation of diabetes among mothers and pregnant women in Malaysia..."  and  "...visited to talk to mothers with diabetes and pregnant women who developed pregnancy-related diabetes..."{Source}. After her visit to the hospital, she attended a signing ceremony between Novo Nordisk Malaysia and the Ministry of Health, Government of Malaysia {Source}. After that, the future Danish Queen attended the opening of the Sex and Society panel Debate {Source}.

In the evening, both future Queen Consorts attended a VIP reception {Source}

Day 3 (29 May)

Crown Princess Mette-Marit had a busy day today! She started out early, attending a UNAIDS breakfast meeting entitled Every Woman, Every Child, an event which she co-chaired{Source}. She attended a session entitled Global Progress on Family Planning – Putting Women at the Heart of the 
Global Health Agenda {Source}. She also paid a visit to the Norwegian Stand at the Women Deliver Confrence {Source}. She also went on a feild trip of sorts with the Malaysian Aids Council, where they visited a shelter for at risk women {photos} {Source}. In the evening, she attended the Impact Awards {Source}.

Crown Princess Mary wrapped up her visit to Malaysia by keeping busy. She started her day off by participating in the "...plenary session on the global development of family planning..."{Source}. Afterward, she paid a visit to the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), and toured the local registration center {Source}. Crown Princess Mary also held a meeting with refugee women from Burma who discussed their work at the center and exhibited some crafts {Source}{Photos}, visited the Karen Organization School (a school for Burmese refugee children) {Source} and paid a visit to the Women's Institute of Management{Source}. In the evening, she attended a business gala dinner, where the future Danish Queen gave a speech {Source}.
