Royal Profile: Princess Eugenie of York

Princess Eugenie Victoria Helena of York was born on 23rd March, 1990 as the second daughter of The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York {Source}. As of 2016, she is presently 8th in line for the British Throne after her uncle, two cousins, two first cousins 1x removed, father and sister {Source}.

She was educated in the United Kingdom {Source}. She attended the Upton House School, Coworth Park School and St. George's School, Ascot for her prepatory education {Source}. She attended Marlborough College for her A-Levels, earning A-Levels in Art, English Literature and History of Art in 2008 {Source}. In September 2009, Princess Eugenie started a Combined Honours BA in English Literature, History of Art and Politics at Newcastle University. Princess Eugenie graduated in 2012 with a 2:1 degree {Source}.

In 2002, she underwent back surgery to correct a scoliosis condition {Source}. As a result of her experience, she is keen to support others going through similar treatments {Source}.

As a member of the British Royal Family, she often takes part in charitable acts. In April 2012, Princess Eugenie agreed to become Patron of the Hospital's Redevelopment Appeal {Source}. In June 2012, Princess Eugenie was one of around 3,000 cyclists to take part in Nightrider, a 100km bike ride through London , where she raised money for the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and the Marylebone Cricket Club Foundation{Source}. Princess Eugenie is a Teenage Cancer Trust Ambassador and a member of the Committee of the Young Marlburian Foundation {Source}.

Princess Eugenie is pursuing a career in the art world and completed a three month cookery course in 2012 {Source}. In 2015, the young princess is residing in the United States, where she is working at the online auction house, Paddle 8{Source}. After two years in the United States, she returned to the United Kingdom, where she is working at Hauser & Wirth art gallery as an associate director {Source}
