Royal Profile: Princess Tatiana of Greece and Denmark

Princess Tatiana of Greece and Denmark was born 28 August 1980 as Tatiana Ellinka Blatnik in Venezuela as the daughter of Ladislav Blatnik & Marie Blanche Bierlein {Source}. When she was three years old, her family moved to Switzerland

When she was six years old, her father died {Source}. Her mother later remarried Attilio Brillembourg {Source}. She was primarially raised by Marie and Attilio Brillembourg in Europe with her elder brother, Boris {Source}{Source}. 

She was educated in Switzerland, and the United States. Princess Tatiana studied at Aiglon College {Source}. She studied at Georgetown University, receiving her bachelors degree in sociology in 2003 {Source}.

After graduation, she began to work in the publicity department as an event planner for fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg {Source}.  Princess Tatiana resigned in July 2010 from her position with designer Diane von Fürstenberg to focus on her wedding plans {Source}.Despite the rumors, her wedding gown was not designed by her former boss, but Angel Sanchez, who is an American designer.
She had become engaged to Prince Nikolas of Greece and Denmark in July 2009 {Source}.  They were married in a ceremony in Greece in August 2010 {Source}.
Since her marriage, she has made numerous public appearances. She has attended numerous royal weddings including Crown Princess Victoria's, Prince William's, Princess Nathalie's and Princess Madeleine's, numerous Fashion Week Events, Royal Christenings including the Danish Twins. In 2013, she met Princess Charlene of Monaco when they both sat front row during the Armani Fashion Show {Photos}In 2015, she attended the the wedding of Prince Carl Philip & Princess Sofia, Walkabout Foundation Inaugural Gala.
