Royal Profile: Peter Philips

Peter Mark Andrew Philips was born the eldest son of The Princess Anne, The Princess Royal and her first husband, Captain Mark Philips on 15 November 1977{Source}. He is the 1st legitimate grandchild of a monarch to be born without a title or courtesy title in 500 years. At the time of his birth, there was a 41-gun salute from the Tower of London. His godparents were:

From 1980-1990, Peter attended Port Regis School. Upon graduating from there, he attended the same school previously attended by his maternal grandfather and uncles, Gordonstun School in Scotland. He attended the University of Exeter, graduating with a Sports Science degree. After graduating in 2000, Peter worked for various organizations. First, he worked as a corporate hospitality manager for Jaguar, before moving on to work as a sponsorship accounts manager for WilliamsF1 Racing Team. He worked for Royal Bank of Scotland from 2005-2012. During his time at the Royal Bank of Scotland, he worked in a branch in Hong Kong. He now works as a managing director for an organization known as SEL UK, where he manages his sister's equestrian career {Source}. Contrary to his sister's life, Peter leads a very low public profile. He dated a few women before meeting Autumn Philips, and marrying her in 2008. Together, they have two daughters:

In August 2012, he was the Guest of Honor at the 2012 Rugby Leauge Challenge Cup Finals between Warrington Wolves and Leeds Rhinos. In June 2013, he participated in the organization of The London Leg of the Global Champions Tour {Video}. Mr. Philips also participated in the event in 2014. At his birth, he was 6th in line for the throne. Presently, Mr. Philips is 14th after three uncles, six cousins, three 1st cousin 1x removed, and his mother.
