At barely a year old, Archduchess Anna Astrid spent the first few months of her life in Belgium, but her parents and her have relocated to Switzerland, where her father works for a bank that is owned by her paternal grandfather {Source}.
She was named for her grandmothers:
At the time of her parents' wedding, no royal decree was issued granting her mother the title Her Royal Highness Princess of Belgium. It was originally speculated that no issue of royal decree was due to government issues, then that Prince Amedeo had not seek authorization for his marriage. Neither speculation was confirmed or denied by the Royal Court or Belgian Government for many months. More than a year after the wedding he applied for retroactive approval of their marriage with his uncle and it was approved retroactively. Due to a new royal decree issued by his uncle that entitles only those of the heir and present monarch the title Prince/ss of Belgium, their future children will not hold the title Prince/ss of Belgium. However, due to Prince Amedeo also being a paternal heir to the titles Archduke of Austria-Este, Prince Royal of Hungary & Bohemia, their children and his wife will hold those titles.
She is currently 7th in succession for the Belgian throne after her father. Due to succession rules, she cannot be displaced by any younger brothers.
