Royal Profile: Balthazar Casiraghi-Rassam

Balthazar Casiraghi-Rassam was born 23 October 2018 as the first child of Charlotte Casiraghi and Dimitri Rassam {Source}{Source}. From his parents previous relationships, he has two older half-siblings, a paternal half-sister and a maternal half-brother{Source}:
  1. Darya Rassam (2011)
  2. Raphaël Elmaleh (2013)
He was considered illegitimate at birth, due to the fact his parents were not married. By most succession laws, Casiraghi-Rassam would not be considered for the throne even after his parents married, however, under Monégasque law, he is. When his parents married in June 2019, he was immediately legitimatized, and placed 9th in succession after two first cousins 1x removed (Jacques & Gabriella), his grandmother (Caroline), two uncles (Andrea & Pierre), two cousins (yes two-Tatiana's children are not his cousins nor in succession. Francesco & Stefano) and his Mother

His parents reside between Paris, Monaco and the United States.

He was likely baptized during his parents wedding ceremony in June 2019, and there was no public word as to whom his godparents were. It's possible he will make his royal debut in November, during Monaco's National Day ceremonies.
