Prince Christian Valdemar Henri John of Denmark, Count of Monpezat was born on 15 October 2005 at Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen University Hospital) as the first child and eldest son of Crown Prince Fredrik & Crown Princess Mary {Source}. He has three younger siblings{Source}:

On 27 March 2007 Prince Christian started nursery school at Queen Louise's Children's House{Source}. In January 2020, he and his siblings begin a 12 week educational program in Switzerland, however due to COVID19, their Switzerland stay was cut short {Source}. Although his mother claims that he does not know that he one day will be the Danish King, he has performed several royal duties. In 2008, he participated in his first official royal duty when he attended the opening of the new elephant house at the Copenhagen Zoo with his grandfather{Video}. In June 2010, he was a page boy at the wedding of Crown Princess Victoria{Photos}. On 11 January 2012, he, along his grandmother, revealed a painting of his father, grandmother and himself{Photos}. He also attended his grandmother's 40th anniversary celebrations in 2012{Photos}. He also attended several London 2012 Olympic events with his family {Photos}. In 2019, he attended the IHF Men's World Championships Handball Final between Denmark and Norway, joined his family to celebrate his grandmother's 79th birthday, celebrated his uncle and godfather's 50th birthday, Since 2007, he's been seen during the family's annual photocalls (2007, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016). Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, Prince Christian hasn't been seen much this year.
