Royal Profile:Richard Casimir Karl August Robert Konstantin, 6th Prince of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg

Richard Casimir Karl August Robert Konstantin, 6th Prince of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg was born 29 October 1934 in Germany, the eldest son of Prince Gustav Albrecht and Princess Margareta Fouché d'Otrante of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg {Source}.

His father was declared missing in 1945 and dead in 1969, leaving him to be raised along side his younger brother and two younger sisters by their mother, who return the family to her native Sweden. He attended the boarding schools Viggbyholm and Sigtuna. The young prince attended University of Göttingen, where he studed forest science, where he obtained a foresty diploma. He also attended some post-graduate training as Forstrferendar and obtained a second degree as an  Assessor des Forstdienstes after passing the second forestry examination taken by the North Rhine Westphalian State Forestry Service {Source}.
