She studied psychology at Stanford University in the United States, earning a degree. Princess Ashi Kesang Choden Wangchuck was awarded the Commemorative Silver Jubilee Medal of King Jigme Singye in 2006{Source}. In 2008, she was awarded the King Jigme Khesar Investiture Medal {Source}


On 11 November 2008, she married Dasho Palden Yoeser Thinley{Source}. Together, they have two sons:

  • Dasho Ugyen Junay Wangchuck

The Princess is currently 13th in succession of the Bhutanese throne.
