Royal Profile: Daniel Chatto
Daniel St. George Chatto was born 22 April 1957 as Daniel Chatto St. George Sproule, the son of the late actor Thomas Chatto Sproule and the theatrical agent Ros Chatto {Source}. He has one brother, James {Source}
In 1987, using Deed poll, Chatto legally changed his name from Daniel Chatto St. George Sproule to Daniel St. George Chatto. At the same time, his mother, also using Deed Poll, abandoned her surname Sproule in favor of Chatto.{Source}.
He attended Bedales Boarding School {Source}. Before marrying into the royal family, he was an actor, like his father. He appeared in several films throughout the 1980s. His most notable role is probably Charles & Diana: A Royal Love Story (1982, Prince Andrew){Source}.
He began a romance with Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones while working on Heat and Dust in India in 1983, in which he played a party guest and Lady Sarah was working in the wardrobe department {Source}. Fast forward to 14 July 1994, at St. Stephen Walbrook Church, where they were married.
Together, they have two sons:

Mr. Chatto does not perform any royal duties on behalf of his wife's aunt, however, like his wife,sons, and his brother-in-law and his family, he is a frequent guest at royal functions. In the past, some of these functions have included: the Queen's traditional Christmas Luncheon at Buckingham Palace and Christmas a Sandringham, The State Opening Of Parliament (where his younger son has served as a Page of Honour to his great-aunt from 2010-2015), family weddings, VIP art gallery openings. Most recently, he was joined by his wife and younger son at a concert at Royal Albert Hall in honor of Queen Elizabeth II's 92nd birthday. In the company of his wife, he attended the Cartier Style & Luxury Lunch at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2012 {Source}.
