Royal Profile: Prince Henrik of Denmark, Count of Monzepat

Prince Henrik Carl Joachim Alain of Denmark, Count of Monzepat was born 4 May 2009, the first child of Prince Joachim and his second wife, Princess Marie. He has two older paternal half brothers and a younger sister:


He was christened on the 26 July 2009, and his godparents were:

He is presently 9th in line for the Danish throne.


He began his education at Sct. Joseph Søstrenes Skole in August 2015{Source}. When the family moved to France in September 2019, he began attending schools in Paris. However, once the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the family returned to Denmark, where he continues his education online. 

Prince Henrik was tested for COVID-19 after suffering from an upper respiratory infection, but tested negative. He most recently joined his siblings and cousins wishing their grandmother a happy 80th birthday via a video
