Princess Alexandra Rosemarie Ingrid Benedikte of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, Countess Ahlefeldt-Laurvig-Bille was born 20 November 1970 as the second child and elder daughter of Princess Benedikte of Denmark, Princess of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Richard, the 6th Prince of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg {Source}. Little is known about her upbringing other than she was raised in Germany. Also because of this, she does not perform any public duties, she occasionally will appear with her family at events such as photocalls, weddings, and christenings. However, she and her children are distantly in line for the British Throne.
