The Duke attended a reception to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Queen's accession to the Throne at the Lower Barrakka Gardens where he planted a tree to commerate his visit and the Diamond Jubilee {Source}.

The Duke was present at the re-enactment of the presentation of the George Cross to Malta in the Palace Square where he made a speech and delivered a message on Queen Elizabeth's behalf.
April 16 (Day 4)
