The Earl & Countess of Wessex visit Malta

Day 1 (Nov 15)

Upon their arrival, they attended a a reception on board HMS Illustrious, berthed in Grand Harbour{Source}.Prince Edward also attended a cocktail party at the residence of the British High Commissioner and a dinner at a hotel in St. Julians {Source}

Day 2 (Nov 16)

In the morning, Prince Edward attended a breakfast meeting at the Camber of Commerce {Source}. After breakfast, he innaugrated an exhibitation in Florina to mark the 50th anniversary of PAS in Malta. Prior to a break for lunch, the Queen's youngest child visited KDM Group's offices om San Gwann.

Before lunch with H.E. President Abela, and event patrons at San Anton Palace, He is visiting KDM Group's offices in San Gwann. A courtesy visit to the Prime Minister's office at Castille is scheduled for the afternoon.

Day 3 (Nov 17)

They paid a visit to the Helen Keller resource centre to mark its 20th anniversary, where Prince Edward unveiled a commemorative plaque and thanked the staff for their service.

In the afternoon, the Prince and his wife attended to separate activities. As part of her role as Grand President of the St. John Ambulance  in the Priory of England and the Islands, Sophie, The Countess of Wessex presented two ambulances to the St. John Ambulance Brigade in Malta. In the evening, they regrouped to attened the President;s Award Scheme (formerl the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme)
