Gabriella Luise Maria Janssens was born on 7 March 2004 as the first child of Marie Elisabeth Zellinger de Balkany and Oliver Janssens {Source}. She has three younger brothers{Source}:

  • Paul-Louis Janssens ( 2009)
  • Victor Janssens (2014)
Through her mother, she is a granddaughter of Robert Zellinger de Balkany and Princess Maria Gabriella of Savoy{Source}. Through her maternal grandmother, she is a great granddaughter of Umberto II of Italy.


Due to her royal lineage being from the female line, she is not in succesion for the defunct royal throne and likely leads a normal life. She shares a birthday with Princess Sophie of Prussia.
