-Princess Elisabeth. The Duchess of Brabant will NOT receive a government allowance upon her 18th birthday in October announced the Royal Court on Sunday {Source}
The Duchess of Brabant will receive an allowance once ready to handle a full load of royal duties after completing her education, and possibly some military education. The allowance will fund a royal household and an official agenda. Currently, her father recieves 12.2 million euros per a year to fund his duties and staff, while her uncle receives a mere 920,000 euros a year to fund his duties and staff. On contrast, her Dutch counterpart, The Princess of Oranje will receive an offical allowance of 1.4 million euros upon her 18th birthday in 2021.
