Her childhood was spent among her large family at the family's home, Hessian Birstein{Source}. She attended local primary schools before attending Klosterwald School{Source}. She obtained her diploma and a journeymen's diploma in dressmaking {Source}. She attended Albert-Ludwigs University and Universität zu Berlin, where she earned a bachelors and masters degree in business administration {Source}.

After completing her education, she then did several interships across the globe. She worked for the German company German Bundestag, as well as interned in London, Hong Kong and Shanghai {Source}.
