In 2005, her fate changed when she was a tour guide for the younger son of Prince Ernest-August of Hanover, Prince Christian, during his Peruvian vacation{Source}. After his vacation, they kept in contact, and eventually began dating in 2011, followed by an engagement in April 2017 {Source}. They married in a civil ceremony in London that November, followed by a Catholic ceremony and three day affair in Peru on 16 March 2018 {Source}. In March 2020, they announced they are expecting their first child together, of which their child will hold the title HRH Prince/ss of Hanover {Source}. Due to them marrying in a Catholic ceremony, it is possible that Prince Christian, like his sister Princess Alexandra, converted to Catholicism, thus removing himself from British succession.
