-Crown Prince Fredrick visited the Royal Australian Navy Special Forces (RANSF) in Sydney, he received a briefing prior to participating in a “…boat ride with members from the 2nd Commando Regiment in Sydney Harbor”, tried on some cool clothes, and mingled with the men and women of the Australian Navy. -Grand Duchess Maria Teresa participated in the Développement et Promotion de l’Economie Solidaire au Service du Développement Durable à Luxembourg conference on Thursday, where she gave a speech on Thursday. Also on Thursday, the Grand Duchess attended the 2011 Edward Steichen Award Ceremony.
-Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume along with the Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Mr. Jeannot Krecké were in United Arab Emirates and Qatar, where they are a trade mission.
-Princess Elisabeth, aunt of the present Grand Duke, died this on Tuesday {source}. Funeral arrangements were annouced as follows: On December 15th, there will be a mass held at Église Saint Michel. She will be buried in the family vault of the Artstetten castle that belongs to the family of Princess Elisabeth's late husband Duke Franz of Hohenberg. Princess Elisabeth died at the Château de Fischbach where she lived with her brother Grand Duke Jean for the last couple of months. Before she died, she was in frail health as she had suffered a stroke sometime last year. {Source}
