Royal Profile: Prince Vincent of Denmark, Count of Monpezat

Prince Vincent Frederik Minik Alexander of Denmark, Count of Monpezat was born on 8 January 2011 as the second son of Crown Prince Fredrik of Denmark & Crown Princess Mary of Denmark{Source}. He has two older siblings and a twin sister:
  1. Prince Christian of Denmark, Count of Monpezat (2005)
  2. Princess Isabella of Denmark, Countess of Monpezat (2007)
  3. Princess Josephine of Denmark, Countess of Monpezat (2011)

On 14 April 2011, he and his twin sister were christened. His godparents were the following{Source}:
  1. John Stuart Donaldson (maternal uncle)
  2. Prince Gustav, Hereditary Prince of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (paternal 1st cousin 1x removed)
  3. Baroness Helle Reedtz-Thott (friend of his mothers)

Although they are only 5 years old, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine have already taken part in several royal engagements.  In 2011, they took part in a Royal Tour of Australia with their parents at 11 months old {Photos} and their first summer photocall {Photos}. In 2012, they took part in their grandmother's 40th succession anniversary {Photos} and Prince Vincent joined the family's annual summer photocall (Princess Josephine missed it due to being ill, I believe) {Photos}. In 2013, he and his sister made an apperance at a winter photocall with their family {Photos}, attended Queen Margrethe II's 73rd birthday celebrations {Photos}, and both twins were back for the family's annual summer photocall {Photos}. In 2014, they appeared at their grandfather's 80th birthday celebrations{Photos}, made an appearance with their family for the summer photocall {Photos}, made an official visit to Greenland with their family {Photos} and paid a visit to Tivoli Gardens{Photos}. On 3 August 2014, during the family's official visit to Greenland, Vincent, his parents and siblings, took part in a tree planting in Qaqortoq's new poplar grove, Ivalos og Miniks Poppellund, named after Vincent and his sister who are known by their Greenlandic middle names in Greenland {Video}. In 2015, the twins, their big sister Isabella and mother attended Organic Day {Photos}, Queen Margrethe II's 75th birthday celebrations {Photos} , the family's annual summer photocall {Photos}.

Prince Vincent is currently 4th in succession for the Danish throne after his father and two older siblings. Princess Josephine is approximately 26 minutes younger than her twin brother.  The royal pair is also distantly in succession for the British throne.
