Royal Profile: Princess Angela of Liechtenstein
Princess Angela of Liechtenstein was born on 3 February 1958 in Bocas del Toro, Panama as Angela Gisela Brown, the daughter of Javier Francisco Brown and Silvia Maritza Burke. She is the wife of Prince Maximilan of Liechtenstein{Source}.
Presently, she and her son, Prince Alfons are the highest ranked black members of a European reigning dynasty. (Ed. note: I *believe* the next member is Monaco's Cecile de Massy, who is the wife of Christian de Massy, who is the cousin of reigning Prince Albert II of Monaco){Source}.
She was raised primarily in New York, NY USA. She attended local schools, and eventually she began to study fashion at Parsons The New School for Design{Source}. During her time at Parsons, she was awarded the Oscar de la Renta Gold Thimble Award{Source}. Upon graduation, she began to work as a designer, and created her own fashion label, A. Brown, a pattern which continued for three years. She then became fashion designer and a fashion director for Adrienne Vittadini{Source}.
On 29 January 2000, she married Prince Maximilian of Liechtenstein in New York City{Source}. Together, they have one son{Source}:
