Royal Profile: Princess Marilène of Orange-Nassau, van Vollenhoven

Princess Marilène of Orange-Nassau, van Vollenhoven was born 4 February 1970 as the youngest daughter of Hans van den Broek and Josee van den Broek-van Schendel {Source}. She has an older sister, Caroline {Source}.

Her childhood was active with her education {Source}. She graduated from her primary education in 1988 {Source}. She began studying business administration with a specialization in marketing {Source}.Upon obtaining a degree, she worked as a marketing specialist for Koninklijke Ahold NV {Source}.

She met her future husband when they were both working with Vindicat, a Dutch student corps {Source}. In November 1997, the pair announced their engagement. They walked down the aisle on 29th and 30th of May 1998 {Source}. Together, they have three children:
