World Travelers: Queen Sofia of Spain visits The Phillipines
Day 1 (July 2)
Queen Sofia arrived in the Philippines. Shortly after her arrival, she inspected The Phillipines's Honor Guard who had greeted her at the airport.
Day 2 (July 3)
She had a very busy day today! She visited Escuela Taller, a vocational workshop where she posed with offiicials and children. She also visited the National Library
Queen Sofia attended a dinner with Spanish Foreign Minister Jesus Manuel Gracia Aldaz & Philippine President Benigno Aquino at the Malacanang Palace.

Queen Sofia visited the Camalig Evacuation Center for Natural Disasters in Legazpi City, where she was greeted by several enthusiastic children {Source}{Photos}.
Day 5 (July 5)
Queen Sofia visited the Claret Catholic school, where again, she was greeted by enthusiastic students {Photos}. She also paid visits to the Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC), the Royal Fort of Our Virgin Lady of the Pillar of Zaragoza National Museum for lunch hosted by the City Government. After lunch, Queen Sofia proceeded to the Garden Orchid Hotel for a private time and then visited the Don Pablo Lorenzo Memorial High School (DPLMHS) in Santa Maria village {Source}.
