Royal Profile: HRH Sophie, Hereditary Princess of Liechtenstein

Sophie, Hereditary Princess of Liechtenstein  was born 28 October 1967, the eldest of 5 daughters of Prince Max, Duke in Bavaria, and Swedish Countess Elisabeth Dougla. She grew up in Wildbad Kreuth, Germany in Schloss Romgberg. 

She attended Girls' Home Primary School of the English Lady in Heiligenstadt, before moving on the the Girls' Secondard Boarding School Hohenburg in Lenggeries. After completing her primary education, she studied  English language and literature at the Catholic University in Eichstätt.

She married Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein in 19993. Together, they have four children:
  1. Prince Joesph Wenzel Maximilian Maria of Liechtenstein (1995)
  2. Princess Marie- Caroline Elisabeth Immaculata of Lietenstein (1996)
  3. Prince Georg Antonius Constantin Maria of Lietenstein (1999)
  4. Prince Nikolaus Sebastian Alexander Maria of Liechtenstein (2000)
