King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan Visit Turkey
Day 1 (March 5)
Upon their arrival, they attended a Welcome Ceremony at Ankara International Airport before making a visit to the Mustafa Kemel Atatürk mausoleum {Source}. After, The King joined The Turkish President for a meeting at the Presidential Palace while The Queen attended a luncheon with the First Lady. After their luncheon, the Queen an First Lady toured the reception halls and the kitchen of the Çankaya Presidential Palace, where they watched the preparations for the official dinner the First Couple will host in honor of their Jordanian guests. {Source}.
After a relaxing morning, The King of Jordan joined the Turkish President for a tour of the the TUSAS Aerospace Industries (TAI) production facilities in Ankara and attended the Turkey-Jordan Economic Cooperation Meeting. The King also had a meetign with the Prime Minister of Turkey {Source}.
