Countess Luanna van Oranje-Nassau, Jonkvrouw van Amsberg was born 26 March 2005, the elder of two daughters of Prince Friso and Princess Mabel of The Netherlands.

- Eveline Wisse Smit (a former Dutch hockey player and half sister to her mother)
- Baroness Sophie von der Recke (her father's cousin)
- Emma Bonino (presumably a friend of her parents-she was also a bridesmaid at her parent's wedding)
Because her father did not seek parlimentary approval before marrying her mother, she is not in line for the throne of The Netherlands. By Royal Decree of 19 March 2004, nr. 126 is determined that all children of the couple will bear the title of Count (Countess) of Orange-Nassau and the honorific Jonkheer (Jonkvrouwe) van Amsberg, and have the surname Van Oranje-Nassau van Amsberg. She has one younger sister, Countess Zaria, who was born in June 2006.
