Julius Christian Emil Schmidt af Rosenborg was born 1 December 2001 as the eldest of two children of Countess Josephine Caroline Elisabeth af Rosenborg and Thomas Christian Schmidt {Source}.
He has one younger sister {Source}:
He has 5 cousins: Anastasia, Ludwig, Leopold, Theodor & Caroline-Mathilde.

He is a first cousin twice removed of Queen Margarethe II of Denmark, Princess Benedikte of Denmark, Princess of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece (her grandfather was their first cousin), but he is not a member of the Danish Royal Family. This youngster holds no royal title, or succession rights, but as a 1st cousin 2x removed, he is kind of part of the Royal Family, but not really. Because he isn't technically part of the Royal Family, little is known about him and it  is likely he leads a fairly normal life. 

The only event we likely saw him at was his grandfather's, Count Christian of Rosenborg, funeral in 2013  {Photos}.

He shares a birthday with Aiko, Princess Toshi of Japan.
