Prince Christian Heinrich Clemens Paul Frank Peter Welf Wilhelm-Ernst Friedrich Franz of Hanover was born 1 June 1985 as the second son of Prince Ernst-August of Hanover & Chantall Houchuli {Source}. He has an older brother, a soon-to-be sister-in-law, two paternal stepbrothers, a paternal stepsister-in-law, a paternal stepsister, a paternal half sister and two paternal step nephews{Source}:

In recent years, he has attended various royal events. In 2005, he and his brother represented their father (who was ill at the time) at the investiture of their step-uncle as Sovereign Prince of Monaco in July and attended Monaco's National Day celebrations in November. In 2011, they were again in Monaco, this time to attend their stepuncle's wedding to Charlene Wittstock{Source}. In 2015, he attended the funeral service of his great aunt, Alexandra Prinzessin von Hannover {Source}. In 2017, he was present at his brother's wedding to Ekaterina Malysheva {Source}. In 2018, it was time for his own religious wedding ceremony to Alessandra de Osma{Photos}. In 2019, he joined his stepfamily and little sister at Monaco's Rose Ball and a reception offered by Peruvian president Martin Alberto Vizcarra in honour of King Felipe VI of Spain and Queen Letizia of Spain.
He is second in line for the Hanover Throne and distantly in succession for the British Throne.
